The series follows Sito Nakamura, your typical video game loving, college student. Sito is not like your typical main character in romance/ecchi novels and manga, he is aware of his surroundings and the moves that women try to make on him.
Being a typical teenager with a sex drive, Sito, too, goes out of his way to make moves with women.
While on the island, we get to see how Sito is able to handle the various situations that he is put through by the Observers.
The story also follows the lives of the other twenty-five characters closely as well. We. get to see various backstories, lots of drama, and discover secretes of the characters alongside the island's secretes.

This light novel, The Twenty-Six brought upon a roller coaster of emotions. It had a great mixture of action, romance and comedy. All of the characters through this book were relatable in someway. Each chapter is layered perfectly with a bit of suspense and relief. Along the book it shows great character development. I can not wait to read the next volume when it does release I highly recommend this novel.

The Twenty-Six is a brief, but entertaining read that throws you right into the chaotic story of teens fighting for their lives. If you enjoy the Hunger Games or Dangonranpa, this would be a good fit in your digital library! There is action throughout, sprinkled with some relief for the characters, but by the time it ends you’ll be ready for volume 2.
